The Dead Ex was a good book.
There is a missing ex husband (David), an accused ex wife (Vicki). The missing ex husband's new/current wife (Tanya) reports him missing and ends up murdered.
An inmate (Zelda) and her daughter (Scarlet/Helen) are looking for revenge on a former prison governor for "having it out" for Zelda.
There are also some extra marital affairs and plenty of twists you won't see coming.

Review: The Woman Inside by E.G. Scott
Murders, lies, secrets, addiction, an affair, obsession and so much more! There were a lot of good twists and turns in The Woman Inside.
Paul and Rebecca have been married almost 20 years and both have dysfunctional pasts.
How well does Rebecca really know Paul even after all these years?
